Quick and Easy Pickled Red Onions
Ingredients
- 1 red onion, thinly sliced
- ¾ cup apple cider vinegar
- ¼ cup water
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1 Tbsp white sugar
Instructions
- In a saucepan, add vinegar, water, sugar and salt.
- Whisk over medium heat until just boiling, remove from heat.
- Place sliced onion in a mason jar.
- Pour liquid over the onion slices.
- Put lid on jar and turn upside down a couple of times to cover the onions with the liquid.
- Let sit for 30 minutes before serving.
- Store leftovers in the fridge.
