Gingerbread cookies were always a favorite growing up, and this spice mix smells like the dough we would cut out as kids to make gingerbread men.

Ingredients For Gingerbread Spice Mix

To make this spice mix, you will need these five ingredients:

  • Ground cinnamon.
  • Ground ginger.
  • All-spice.
  • Nutmeg.
  • Ground cloves.

Uses For Gingerbread Spice

Add this spice mix to all kinds of recipes. We use this a lot during the holidays.

  • Add a teaspoon or two to hot chocolate.
  • Use in sugar cookies to add a gingerbread flavor.
  • Stir into vanilla ice cream for a holiday treat.
  • Use in pumpkin pie instead of pumpkin pie spice.
