Sweet and spicy, Honey Sriracha Mustard Sauce is easy to make and tastes great on pork, especially BBQ pork. This sauce can also be used as a dip for chicken nuggets, corn dogs, and more.

This simple mustard sauce is similar to a mustard BBQ sauce and can be used like one. It is great to serve with many BBQ dishes as a condiment or as a basting sauce for meat.
Ingredients For Honey Sriracha Mustard Sauce
To make this sauce, a total of eight ingredients are needed. This mustard-based sauce is ready in minutes and doesn’t require any cooking.
- Mustard. Regular yellow mustard is the base for this sauce.
- Ketchup. Tomato in the ketchup balances out the flavours in this sauce.
- Honey. This gives the sauce a touch of sweetness that complements the heat.
- Sriracha. The heat in this mustard sauce comes from the addition of Sriracha. A milder hot sauce can be used, as well.
- Worcestershire Sauce. A must in any BBQ sauce, Worcestershire Sauce balances out all the flavours.
- Apple Cider Vinegar. Every good BBQ sauce needs an acid, and apple cider vinegar is, in our opinion, one of the best options flavour-wise for BBQ sauces.
- Paprika.
- Garlic Powder.

How To Use This Mustard Sauce
There are many ways to use this sauce. It makes a great sauce for basting, but can also be used in other ways.
- Basting. Use Honey Sriracha Mustard Sauce for basting pork roasts and chops.
- Sauce. Add to pulled pork to create a tangy, sweet and spicy alternative.
- Dipping Sauce. This sauce makes a great dipping sauce for chicken tenders or nuggets.
- Condiment. Top burgers or hot dogs with this sauce instead of mustard and ketchup.
- Sandwiches. Spread on sandwiches. It is especially good on smoked bologna sandwiches.
- Ribs. It is also great for rubbing on ribs before adding a powdered rub. It will help the rub adhere to the meat.
Storing Honey Sriracha Mustard Sauce
Any leftover sauce can be stored in an air-tight container in the fridge for up to a month.
We like to store it in a glass jar, such as a mason jar. But it can also be stored in a plastic container.
Freezing the sauce is not recommended because it can separate and become watery.
Can This Sauce Be Made In Large Batches?
The sauce can be made in larger batches and canned as well for use all summer long. Follow canning rules for high acid foods when making large batches for canning.
In the fall we like to have this sauce on hand for dipping our Homemade Corn Dogs or Sausage Rolls. The sauce is perfect for adding to a buffet of finger foods for Saturday night hockey or Sunday football games.
This sauce makes a great addition to a gift basket at Christmas as well. Add it along with other sauces and spice blends to a BBQ gift basket. Find out more about DIY Gift Baskets.
