Salted Dark Chocolate Cookies

- ¾ cup all-purpose flour
- ¾ cup white sugar
- 3 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- ¾ tsp baking soda
- 8 ounces dark chocolate, chopped
- ¼ cup butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Coarse sea salt
Preheat oven to 350℉ and line two baking sheets with parchment or a silicone mat.
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, and baking soda.
In a small pot over low heat, melt the dark chocolate and butter together, stirring to combine.
Pour melted chocolate into the flour mixture, stirring. Mixture will be thick.
Stir in the eggs and vanilla until well combined.
Drop cookie dough by equal spoonfuls onto prepared pans, spacing about 2 inches apart.
Bake 10-11 minutes, don't overbake. Cookies will be soft and wet in the centre but the edges will be baked.
Sprinkle immediately with coarse sea salt.
Let cool for 2 minutes on the pans before transferring to a cooling rack to finish cooling.
