- 2 pounds ground pork
- ½ cup diced white onion
- 8 hamburger buns
Sauce
- 1 can crushed pineapple (398 ml)
- 1 cup ketchup
- ½ cup soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 Tbsp paprika
- 1 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp onion powder
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp hot sauce (optional)
Preheat Blackstone/Griddle to medium heat.
In a small sauce pan mix all sauce ingredients together and place it on the griddle off to the side to heat, stirring often.
Cook meat and onions on one side of the griddle, breaking up the meat into crumbles as it cooks.
Once the meat is cooked through, slowly pour the sauce over the meat, mixing it all together.
Toast the buns on one side of the griddle while the sauce thickens on the meat.
Fill the buns with the meat and serve.
