Whisk together flour, baking powder and salt in a large bowl.
Pour in oil and water, and mix with a large spoon.
Mix until dough comes together and is no longer shaggy.
Place dough on a lightly floured surface and cut into 8 equal pieces.
Roll each piece of dough into a circle as thin as possible, about ⅛ inch thick
Preheat fry pan over medium high heat.
Place one tortilla at a time in the pan.
Cook 1 minute, flip and then cook 30 seconds on other side.
Serve warm.
