Easy Cherry Turnovers

Easy Cherry Turnovers are quick and made with only three ingredients! And they are ready in less than 20 minutes, so they are great for a last minute snack idea or to serve for an afternoon coffee or tea date.

Ingredients

  • 1 can crescent dough
  • 1 cup cherry pie filling
  • 4 tsp sanding sugar

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350℉.
  • Unroll and separate crescent dough.
  • Place 2 Tbsp of pie filling on the larger end of each crescent dough triangle
  • Roll the dough over the filling like you would for crescent rolls.
  • Sprinkle ½ tsp of sanding sugar over each crescent.
  • Place on baking sheet about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 12-14 minutes or until golden on top and crescent rolls are completely baked through.
  • Transfer to cooling rack to cool slightly.
  • Serve warm.
  • Store leftovers in an air tight container for up to 24 hours at room temperature or in the fridge for 3 days.
