Chocolate Chip Shortbreads
Quick and easy chocolate chip shortbread cookies are a delightful Christmas treat. Add them to your Christmas baskets or make them for a cookie exchange.

- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1½ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- ¾ cup chocolate chips
Beat butter, flour and sugar together in a stand mixer for 2 minutes on low.
Turn the mixer to medium and continue beating for 4-5 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350℉ and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Roll cookie dough into 1-inch balls and place on prepared pan about 2 inches apart.
Flatten cookies slightly with the bottom of a glass.
Bake in preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are golden. Tops will still be white.
Allow to cool on the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack to finish cooling.
Store in an air-tight container for up to 5 days.
