Ingredients
2½cupsall purpose flour
1cupsugar
1½tspbaking powder
1tspbaking soda
½tspsalt
1cupmilk
2large eggs
1Tbspvanilla extract
½cupmelted butter
1½cupssemi sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F and line a muffin pan with paper liners or grease.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Set aside.
In a small bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Pour the milk mixture into the flour.
Add the melted butter and stir until the dry ingredients are just combined.
Fold in chocolate chips.
Fill the prepared muffin pan evenly with batter.
Bake in preheated oven for 20-23 minutes.
Cool in the pan for 3 minutes before removing the muffins to a cooling rack.
Notes
It is important not to over mix the batter. When adding the liquids to the flour, don't stir too much. Stir until just combined between each addition of liquid.
